SITE RULES
Obviously this is the most exciting part of any airsoft day.
If you need any questions answered before you turn up please don't hesitate to ask, by either contacting us on Facebook or by email riotairsoft2024@gmail.com

The Big No No’s List
These are critically important, if you don’t want to go home before the end of the day.
DON’T BE A D*CK
We think of it as a guiding principal that can be applied to every situation in life. Think before you act, speak or shoot!
BLIND FIRING
If you can’t see down the length of your weapon you don’t know whats at the other end. Don’t be daft.
ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Shouting at staff or players won’t be tolerated. If you can’t control yourself, you can do that off-site thank you very much.
OVERKILL
It takes a round or two to kill a player, not an entire hi-cap magazine. Stick to the three in the air rule (see gameplay rules)
ARGUING WITH MARSHALS
The team give up their game time to run the site, so treat them with respect. If you disagree with a decision, seek the site manager to discuss it further.
THAT’S NOT MINE…
If you see something lying around – a weapon, magazine, piece of kit, grenade etc then assume that the player will return for it. Not yours? Don’t touch.
HOT GUN = EARLY BATH
FPS limit is 350 fps on a 0.2g BB measured on our chronograph. If you are found with a hot gun in game you and the gun go home.
CHEAT CALLING
We don’t allow this. Got an issue, shout for a marshal instead. We’ll follow up on your report.
POWER GAMING
Charging in like Rambo and continuing to fire is poor banter. We take a dim view of this so don’t.
PEPPERING MARSHALS
If you are ploughing rounds into marshals because you aren’t IDing your targets you’ll get to stomp back to spawn.
DEAD PLAYERS DON’T TALK
If you are waiting for a medic you can shout MEDIC thats it. If you are heading for spawn its DEAD MAN COMING THROUGH. Thats it. Nothing else. Nothing via radios.
VANDALISM & STUPIDITY
Deliberate shooting of lights, moving cover, or messing around with fire extinguishers isn’t tolerated. I don’t believe we even need to point this out!

Gameplay Rules
SINGLE SHOT ONLY
No burst or full auto fire permitted anywhere
WHEN YOU ARE HIT
Shout HIT and raise your hand – this will stop the rounds from coming!
GRENADES – HARD COVER
Unless you are behind hard cover grenades have a kill radius of 15ft (which is 4.5 metres or 3 Danny DeVito’s)
KNIFE KILL
Tap an unaware opponent on the shoulder for a knife kill. Must be accepted and acknowledged quietly (don’t scream HIT)
RICOCHETS
Ricochets don’t count as hits providing you check the direction the shot came from and can confirm its indirect fire.
SPAWN KILLING
Know where your opponents spawn is (by listening to the briefing) and don’t camp it, or you’ll get a free trip back to your own spawn.
3 IN THE AIR RULE
Avoid overkill by allowing your shots to get to target: so fire 3, allow them to travel, fire 3 more… etc
WHEN YOU TEAM KILL
Don’t panic, you get a special prize here: A free trip to respawn, with the player you just shot.
GRENADES – SAFETY RULES
Below knee height at all times except when posting over a barricade or through a window (can be dropped onto floor providing you can see where it will land)
USING THE ‘SURRENDER’ CALL
If you have the drop on someone and don’t want to shoot you can shout surrender, they either quietly accept or you can shoot!
GUN HITS
Don’t count for the gun in your hands only. Shout “GUN HIT” and continue.
WHEN IN DOUBT…
Take the hit. This is our guiding principal and we ask you to stick to it robustly as airsoft is a game of valour and honesty.
NIGHT GAMES
Carrying a torch whilst in the game zone is mandatory.
Banned, Restricted and Limited Items
We hate nothing more than banning things. Please ensure you avoid disappointing yourself by bringing something you can’t use to site:

WE DO NOT PERMIT THESE ON SITE
BBs OVER 0.25g in weight – these are unnecessary due to the windless nature of an indoor site
Lasers of any colour – indoors these create a safety hazard as they dazzle and blind players – not great if you are for example on a ladder or a set of stairs.
Mag Flash rounds for BFGs – these have set several things on fire so are no longer permitted
Shell Loading Revolvers – these are restricted as a player was caught using power up shells after chronoing on lower power shells and we can’t police shells so they’ve been banned
Disposable Pyro other than Enola Gay Brand – only Enola Gay allowed on site, this includes anything home-made, which of course is illegal!
Riot Shields – these are not permitted on site because its a game of airsoft and not a riot.
APS Shotguns
Dual Wielding Weapons (aimed shots from a single weapon at any one time only)
Claymores
MOSCART launchers of any type
NEED TO BE SIGNED OFF BY A MARSHAL
Any Training Knife / Tomahawk etc – must be inspected by marshals prior to being permitted in the game zone.
Polarstar / HPA Guns including Tippman – must be capable of being FPS locked, by Tourney Lock (or for Tippman via locking receiver pin.) Must be OK’d and cable tied by marshal team. If cut open, must be chrono checked again by the marshal team.
THESE LIMITS APPLY
All Guns 350fps MAX – measured on 0.2g BBs with our chrono – one shot over at our chrono and it can’t be used. If you are found in game with a hot gun you AND the gun go home immediately. It is your responsibility to make sure all weapons are chrono’d PRIOR to use and within these limits.
Disposable Pyro – Mk5 and Thunder flash are the max. Enola Gay brand only.
BFGs/Reusable Pyro – 9mm is the maximum diameter of blank permitted. So .209 primers are ok but 12 gauge are not.
Safe zone Discipline
Help us make sure the safe zone earns it name by following these simple steps:

Eye Protection on until inside
WHEN IN THE SAFEZONE
No magazines in
Fire selectors never off safe
Fingers off triggers
No dry firing
WHEN ENTERING THE GAMEZONE
Eye/Face Pro on before you leave
Never take it off in game zone
Mags in only once in game zone

Go Pro / Action Cameras can be used on site without restriction however we request that you share any clips you make with us on Facebook – as we love to see them!
If you believe your footage captures someone not following site rules we prefer that you provide that information to us to deal with, rather than posting it on the internet for comment. We find this approach is much more effective and causes much less fuss!
Visiting the site in a non-playing capacity, for example, to complete a sale or purchase, or to capture pictures or video can only be done with our prior consent. Use the contact us form or message us via Facebook.
Pictures and video will be captured at gamedays by approved site photographers and videographers and will be used freely by us in our website and Facebook posts.
