Obviously this is the most exciting part of any airsoft day.
Please also do as the site owners ask as we want the league to continue and more sites to pick it up
If you need any questions answered before you turn up please don't hesitate to ask, by contacting us on Facebook
Below is pretty much your standard site etiquette, any addition or site specific rules regarding cover and boundaries MUST be adhered to.
The Big No No’s List
These are critically important, if you don’t want to go home before the end of the day.
DO NOT BE A PHALLUS
We think of it as a guiding principal that can be applied to every situation in life. Think before you act, speak or shoot!
BLIND FIRING
If you can’t see down the length of your weapon you don’t know what's at the other end. Don’t be daft.
ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Shouting at staff or players won’t be tolerated. If you can’t control yourself, you can do that out of the league and off-site thank you very much.
OVERKILL
It takes a round or two to kill a player, not an entire magazine.
ARGUING WITH MARSHALS
The team give up their game time to run the league, so treat them with respect. If you disagree with a decision, seek a league official to discuss it further.
THAT’S NOT MINE…
If you see something lying around – a weapon, magazine, piece of kit, grenade etc then assume that the player will return for it. Not yours? DON'T TOUCH!
HOT GUN = EARLY BATH
League FPS limit is 350 on a 0.2g BB measured on our chronograph. If you are found with a hot gun in game you and the gun go home.
CHEAT CALLING
We don’t allow this. Got an issue, shout for a marshal instead. We’ll follow up on your report.
POWER GAMING
Charging in like Rambo and continuing to fire is poor. We take a dim view of this so don’t.
PEPPERING MARSHALS AND LEAGUE OFFICIALS
Although fun, If you are ploughing rounds into someone wearing hi-vis because you can't tell the difference between a hi-vis and a player, you’ll get to stomp back to spawn.
DEAD PLAYERS DON’T TALK
When you are heading for spawn its DEAD MAN COMING THROUGH. That's it. Nothing else. Nothing via radios. anyone not adhering to this rule will be sent back to the safe zone and the team will lose use of their radios for the day!
VANDALISM & STUPIDITY
Deliberate shooting of lights, moving cover, or messing around with fire extinguishers isn’t tolerated. I don’t believe we even need to point this out!
Gameplay Rules
Mostly as per site apart from the following
FIRING RULES
As per site when full auto is allowed then it may be used, when not permitted single fire only, No burst or full auto fire permitted anywhere
WHEN YOU ARE HIT
Shout HIT and raise your hand – this will stop the rounds from coming! Then go back to spawn.
GRENADES – HARD COVER
Unless you are fully behind hard cover grenades have a kill radius of 15ft which is 4.5 metres(or 4 and a bit R2D2's)
KNIFE KILL
Tap an unaware opponent on the shoulder for a knife kill. Must be accepted and acknowledged quietly (don’t scream HIT)
RICOCHETS
Ricochets don’t count as hits providing you check the direction the shot came from and can confirm its indirect fire.
SPAWN KILLING
Know where your opponents spawn is (by listening to the briefing) and don’t camp it, or you’ll get a free trip back to your own spawn.
RATE OF FIRE
Again as per site but please avoid overkill
WHEN YOU TEAM KILL
Don’t panic, you get a special prize here: A free trip to respawn, with the player you just shot (so they can give you the look of disappointment the whole way back).
GRENADES – SAFETY RULES
Blank Firing Grenades to be thrown below knee height at all times, disposable pyro as per site.
USING THE ‘SURRENDER’ CALL
If you have the drop on someone and don’t want to shoot you can shout surrender, they either quietly accept or you can shoot!
GUN HITS
Don’t count for the gun in your hands only. Shout “GUN HIT” and continue. (Too many shouts will raise suspicion with marshals)
WHEN IN DOUBT…
Take the hit. This is our guiding principal and we ask you to stick to it robustly as airsoft is a game of valour and honesty.
Safe Zone Discipline
Help us make sure the safe zone earns it name by following these simple steps:
