Speedloader Motor

A motor-gearbox replacement for the Vanguard Speedloader. Checkout the instruction for selfservice.

To replace the motor, remove the lid by disconnecting the white connector and slide the lid from the ammo box while it’s open. To remove the internals of the Speedloader, heat up the bottom with a heat gun, stove or torch. While heating, pull gently on the output tube and cable. The internals will come loose from the bottom, and you can pull them out.

Then, you are able to unscrew the lid from the pump section. Check for any irregularities and clean up the pump section. To check if the motor gearbox is okay, you can use pliers to turn the HEX axis of the motor gently. This should sound and feel smooth. If not, there is probably some damage to the gearbox. You can either replace only the gearbox by unscrewing the three screws, or de-solder the motor.

When assembling the unit back, please make sure the main gear is aligned by putting BBs around it and screw at least two screws from the pump section back. This way, you make sure there is enough clearance to run them through. When tightening the motor screws push the motor axis toward the lower-left corner of the pump-section. Then mount everything back together. Take pictures if you’d like to share your doubts. We always ready to assist you and willing to repair it for you. Please contact us at info@vanguardsolutions.com.
